The Family Care Council Florida (FCCF) is the statewide group of local FCC's that serves as a broader resource for parents, caregivers, and individuals with developmental disabilities. For additional information on the FCCF, please link to their website at FCC Florida.

Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is responsible for the Florida Medicaid Summary of Services and the APD's Developmental Services, Waiver Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook. For additional information on AHCA, please link to their website at AHCA 

Family Network on Disabilities of Florida, Inc. (FND) is a statewide alliance, with offices throughout the state, of individuals with disabilities, special needs, or at-risk and their families. Their mission is to provide family-driven support, education, information, and advocacy. For additional information on the FND, please link to their website at www.fndfl.org.

FAAST is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for all Floridians with disabilities by promoting awareness for access to and advocacy for Affordable Accessible Housing and Assistive Technology. The Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, Inc., is a non-profit organization providing protection and advocacy services in the State of Florida. With offices throughout the state, their mission is to advance the dignity, equality, self-determination and expressed choices of individuals with disabilities. Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) provides support and assistance with the goal of optimizing the potential of people with autism and related disabilities. They have an excellent web site with a wealth of information. Access their FSU website by clicking on http://autism.fsu.edu/.

The Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is an employment resource for businesses and people with disabilities. Their mission is to enable individuals with disabilities to obtain and keep employment. For additional information on VR, please link to their website at Florida DVR.

The Social Security Administration's (SSA) mission is to advance the economic security of the nation�s people through compassionate and vigilant leadership in shaping and managing America's Social Security programs. For additional information on the SSA, please link to their website at SSA .

The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC) was established to help plan individual and family-centered supports for those with disabilities in Florida. They also guide the development and administration of services for people with developmental disabilities by planning and funding research, innovations, and programs. Billy Joe Rish Park-Sunland Marianna is 98.6 acres of white sand, sea oat-covered dunes and touquoise-blue water located at Cape San Blas near Port St. Joe. The park is completely handicap accessible, with miles of boardwalks and ramps connecting spacious dormatories and family cottages to the multi-purpose event hall which has a cooking facility, Olympic size swimming pool, miniature golf course and shuffle board court.  Only Florida residents with qualifying conditions may rent cottages and dormatories, or use the park facilities.  Accompanying family members or guardians are welcome.  In order to properly maintain the park, at $15.00 fee per person nightly fee is charged.  To make reservations call 850-482-9386.

UPside2Downs is an organization dedicated to equipping families with the knowledge of how to allow their children to have every opportunity that everyone else has by involving community and agencies to promote acceptance and inclusion. http://www.upside2downs.org.

e-Buddies is a pen pal program that pairs a person with an intellectual disability in a one-to-one e-mail friendship with a peer volunteer who does not have an intellectual disability.  http://www.ebuddies.org/.
