The Family Care Council (FCC) of Area 1 represents children and adults with developmental disabilities who live in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. The Council consists of people with developmental disabilities, family members, and legal guardians. The FCC of Area 1 meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, and we welcome anyone who would like to attend our meetings!
Our Mission
The mission of the Family Care Council is to advocate, educate, and empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, partnering with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), to bring quality services to individuals for dignity and choice.
